Orano TLI, in coordination with our subsidiary TLI Shipping, LLC and our domestic transportation services division ensures specialized movement of radioactive material both domestically and across international borders by all modes of transport – Air, Railway, Truck, and Sea (even chartered vessel for unique routing/timing demands). The packaging and securement of materials are expertly designed and licensed by our pool of in-house engineers.

Logistics

Orano TLI coordinates movement of radioactive material across international borders by all modes of transport - plane, ship, barge, truck and train. In conjunction with its subsidiary company, TLI Shipping, LLC, Orano TLI provides chartered vessels when project commitments and requirements demand special routing, procedures or timing.

Cylinder Services

UF6 Cylinder Service Center (UCSC), the first of its kind, a dedicated cylinder cleaning and re-certification facility is operational in Kevil, KY. The facility is able to handle all types of natural UF6 cylinders (48” X,Y, G – 30B, 12B…).

Packaging

Orano TLI Packaging, a division of Orano TLI, is a full service package provider serving the nuclear industry and operating under an NRC part 71, and NQA-1, approved QA program. We design, license, and procure a full range of custom and specialty containers for the nuclear industry.

Engineering

Orano TLI Engineering Services specializes in radioactive material packaging and nuclear material facility engineering. Engineering Services provides engineering support for package design, operation, maintenance, and regulatory approvals. The senior staff at Engineering Services has extensive experience supporting the safe transport of radioactive materials in the USNRC, USDOT, and international regulatory environments.

Cylinder Services

CylinderWash      
Through our patented process, we are able to recover ASTM specification natural uranium from the heeled cylinders. Reclaimed uranium ownership can be transferred to TLI or returned in oxide form to clients.
  

UF6 Cylinder Service Center (UCSC), the first of it's kind, a dedicated cylinder cleaning and re-certification facility is operational in Kevil, KY. The facility is able to handle all types of natural UF6 cylinders.

Highly compliant with industry standards and regulations, (ANSI) we also work in compliance with an RAM license issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky and in accordance with an NQA-1 Quality Assurance plan approved by the NRC.

UCSC has over 5 acres of storage capacity for 1000 Full Cylinders, 400 Heeled Cylinders, and 600 Empty Cylinders and includes enhanced safety and security systems throughout the property.
