Our Kevil KY based Cylinder Service Center loves a new project and challenge!

UCSC has now completed full asthetic refurbishment of two UX-30 protective shipping packages. Our client recently made the request for refurbishment and two packages were randomly selected to start the process. The manufacturer of the UX-30 originally produced stainless steel packages that had a smooth reflective finish but later changed the exterior design to a rougher texture finish with a less reflective finish.  Our particular client possesses a surplus of UX-30s and wanted to be able to demonstrate that the packages can be restored to a like new appearance.  UCSC selected one of each surface type of UX-30 and completely refurbished the package and cradle in accordance with the guidance provided in the UX-30 Overpack, Operations and Maintenance Manual.  The result is outstanding and UCSC can now add the capability to refurbish UX-30s to the many specialized services available to current and potential customers.
